**About the Role**

SSP Education are looking for an inspirational and talented **Brickwork Lecturer** to work at a very reputable college based in the **North East**.

This role is open to professionals with classroom experience, but also those wishing to get into education to help develop and nurture the next generation of bricklayers.
You may be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment on our Level 1, Level 2 full time groups and Apprenticeships.
Working closely with the Head of Construction you will use your brickwork industry experience and skills to guide, motivate and inspire your learners to help them achieve their highest possible level. You will also help to drive continuous improvement withinthe College.
You will lead sessions as well as writing lessons plan and preparing teaching resources. You will also support quality assurance processes and assess students’ work. You will also provide vocational support and guidance to learners and track and target individualstudents’ progress.

**About You**
You will be hard working and dedicated with strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels and backgrounds.

Should you be successful we will require you to provide evidence of your qualifications as part of the on-boarding process, you will also be required to obtain and maintain a Disclosure and Barring Certificate (DBS), enhanced with children’s barred list check.
