Despatch Supervisor

**Salary** - £26,000 (Depending on experience)

- Clevedon
**Working Hours** - Permanent, Full-Time contract - Monday - Thursday 8:15am to 15:15pm, Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm
**The Role**
As Stores/QA/Despatch Supervisor you will report to the Production Manager and may have
relationships with all other departments including System Test, Purchasing and Engineering. This will be a hands-on role, responsible for around 3 immediate staff members. There will be a requirement for monthly reporting against set KPIs
**The Key Responsibilities of the Despatch Supervisor will include**:
**Supervisor**:

- Responsible for 3 staff members in two locations. Other production staff members may flex into the area depending on demand
- Ensure staff welfare is maintained
- Comply by company H&S rules
- Ensure all stock locations comply with Lean 5S
- Attend monthly purchasing meeting
- Report monthly KPIs
- Perform annual appraisals and regular 1 to 1's with team members
- Work closely with purchasing to maintain stock levels to company goals
- Advise and implement continuous improvement initiatives

**Physical goods inwards & other movements**:

- Unload goods delivered and move them to their designated location
- Inspect selected goods received and verify & approve whenever necessary, i.e. New items
- Move goods both within and between stores/production and site locations as required
- To deliver and collect goods as required

**Final inspection, Packing & Despatch of finished goods**:

- To complete inspection procedures of finished goods as per quality standards
- Print documents including manuals and electrical drawings relevant to the sales order
- Take photos of finished goods & transfer them to the relevant sales order folder on computer
- Pack finished goods and prepare them for despatch as per quality standards
- To load despatches of goods
