Security Dog Handler

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for an experienced and skilled Dog Handler to join our team in the Surrey area. Your presence will enhance existing security measures and ensure that the site, the client and visitors are kept as safe as possible.
Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Patrol set areas with your working dog, to detect and deter criminal or anti-social behaviour
- Providing an overt security presence
- Dealing with anti-social behaviour should it arise
- Responding to emergencies or Security breaches
- Offer security advice as appropriate
- Fire Marshall duties and manage evacuations when required
- Be the first point of contact for all First Aid matters
- Willing to assist in other role-related duties to assist the client
- Hold a valid SIA Frontline licence
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Hold public liability insurance
- Have your own fit working dog who is social and suitable for working in the public domain
- Accredited to NASDU, NTIPDU or BIPDT Level 2 and hold continuous training records (all relevant training certificates must be made available to view)
- Have full understanding of BS 8517 and own a vehicle that is presentable and in line with this British Standard
- Have the right to work in the UK and a 5 year checkable history in line with BS7858
- Have a UTR Number
- Be physically fit and mentally agile, with a positive and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Have the confidence to work in a ‘client-facing’ environment
- Have a passion for service and environmental issues
- Be welcoming, approachable and professional
- Take pride in your appearance and your working environment
- Be willing to learn adapt and improve
- Be part of a small, close-knit team
- Able to work independently, without the need to be closely supervised
- Must be available for interview
- First aid training desirable

Pay: £15.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
