Supply Chain Planner

A pioneering international company based in Aldermarston near Reading are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join a growing company and logistics team.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively plan and maintain supply chain replenishment plans in SAP, placing and maintaining purchase orders with suppliers to meet customer demand
- Analyse and calculate inventory safety stock levels while maximising revenues and optimising operating work capital
- Effectively manage the introduction of new and discontinued products and/or systems
- Maintain lean management principles in line with company expectations
- Track and manage inbound containers / deliveries, liaising with suppliers, transport companies and the warehouse to ensure timely and smooth deliveries
- Develop and Maintain Relationships with Suppliers in order to ensure supply chain needs are adequately met
- Maintain Supply Chain SAP Item Master and other item administration tasks as required

**Skills required**:

- 3 Years Supply Chain Experience in a Logistics or Supply Management environment
- Bachelor's Degree in business management / Logistics or related field
- Experience using ERP and/or Supply Chain systems (SAP not required but considered an asset)
- Technically minded with an attention to detail, together with a capability to learn and grasp a complex product portfolio
- Team Player with a willingness to demonstrate flexibility in a rapidly growing business
- Flexible, Self-Motivated and Organised while demonstrating a capability to improve and develop new skills
- Strong Written & Verbal Skills, capable of working in a diverse and international business environment
- Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite (eg. Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Passion for renewable energy
- Driving Licence and Transport

Great career development and full training is provided for the right person at this organisation, salary offered is between £30k - £35k along with 30 days holiday and 8 bank holidays, Bupa healthcare and pension. A generous yearly bonus is also given dependingon company performance. The hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, onsite parking, excellent open plan offices and some international travel is required. Due to the location drive and have your own transport.
