Work Location
Based in Pontefract
Regular travel to Hellaby (once per fortnight)
To fulfil operational HR responsibilities across the company’s UK sites, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and delivering best practice solutions to enable the company to effectively manage people.
Key areas of responsibility / Key Tasks / Key Objectives and/or deliverables
- Manage recruitment, onboarding & probationary processes
- Ensure HR data is kept current, accurate & GDPR compliant on all systems
- Manage Grievance & Disciplinary cases
- Coach Supervisors and Managers in people management skills
- Develop the HR Admin & Training Coordinator
- Ensure effective and timely workforce communications
- Develop new & continually improve HR processes and lead and/or contribute to projects
- Manage the Apprentice scheme and establish a Graduate scheme
- Ensure effective attendance management
- Manage occupational health service provision
- Contribute to the evaluation and provision of compensation & benefits offerings
- Provide timely data for Payroll processing
- Provide regular KPI reportage, analysis and ad hoc custom reports
- Provide general assistance and support to the Head of HR

- Proven track record in HR service delivery within fast-paced Engineering / Manufacturing.
