**We are seeking an experienced Nursery Childcare Cook to join our thriving team at our Nursery Setting in Basingstoke**

The heartbeat of our Nursery is our team and an important part of that team is our Nursery Cook, who provides nutritious and healthy meals for the children under our care.
- Prepare Snacks and Meals for the children (and sometimes staff)
- Ensure all allergen and dietary requirements are adhered to
- Undertake regular deep cleans of their working kitchen
- Hold a level 2/3 health & hygiene qualification
- Have 1 years experience in similar role
- To ensure the kitchen and serving areas are maintained to the highest standards in terms of presentation and cleanliness.
- To be able to undertake any further duties assigned by the Nursery Manager in relation to the kitchen, meals, serving and cleanliness.
- Be passionate about preparing fresh, balanced, nutritious meals

**Essential to role**
- A positive attitude
- Level 3 Food and Hygiene qualification
- A team player
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic health and safety and food safety
- Willingness to undertake further training as required
- COSHH Knowledge

Part-time hours: 30 hours over 5 days 9AM-3PM (Flexible could do 8.30 - 2.30 for example)
