Trainee Machinist

We have a position offering full training & progression for someone who is looking to start a career within engineering. The following role is based in Woodbridge, Suffolk & is offering full training to become a sheet metal fabricator.

We are only considering applicants who have previous engineering experience, even if it is limited. You don't have to have worked as a machinist before, but must have some previous engineering acumen behind you, whether it's from college or from previous work experience. Full machine training will be provided if you show the right aptitude & willingness to learn.

**Machinist duties include**:

- Operating the CNC press brake, punch & guillotine
- Assisting on other machines as and when required
- Working alongside other engineers as well as working independently as & when required
- Ensuring orders are met to meet customer demands
- Always Adhering to the company's health & safety policies

The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with metal / fabrication.

Hours are 07:30-16:30, Monday-Thursday with an earlier finish on a Friday.
