Design Draughtsperson

Job Title: Furniture Design Draughtsperson

Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Design Draughtsperson to join a friendly team based in Berkshire. You will form an integral part of the team working on a range of projects for well known clients, delivering everything from initial concept, product proposals, development through to completed design.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop and propose design concepts

Planning and managing design tasks and documenting process

Create design proposals, visuals and presentations

Product development and prototyping

Obtaining costings and producing estimates

Generate 3D CAD models, detail drawings and specification documentation

**Requirements**:
Proven industry experience in furniture product design would be useful but not essential.

Ability to generate and communicate ideas from sketch work through to development

Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and/or RELUX and Microsoft Office packages

Good knowledge of metal, extruded and wood manufacturing processes and materials.

Proactive, motivated, creative and innovative.

Ability to work alone or part of a team

**Salary**: £25000-£35,000.00 per year depending on Experience
