**Pay Range: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale + TLR 2B**

**Actual Salary from: £30,000- £46,525 (M1 - U3 )**

**Start Date: 1st September 2024**

**The Role**

We are seeking a motivated person to work alongside colleagues both teaching and non-teaching, to be a role model for all our students, but with a particular focus on supporting those who require assistance in overcoming any barriers to learning, so they are able to access the full curriculum in order to achieve their potential.

The Inclusion team at CCHS is committed to our guiding principles of _‘Higher Expectations, Raising Aspirations, Transforming Lives’._ The role of the Deputy SENDCo is to promote and instil these ideals, encouraging all students within their care to access the curriculum and engage with their learning and to build positive, respectful and lasting relationships with others to become successful and valued citizens.

**Should you be successful during the shortlisting process interviews will be held face to face at the school.**

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- To work in collaboration with the SENDCo.
- Disseminate good practice in SEND across the school.
- Deliver high quality lessons
- Support the aims and ethos of the school.
- To be responsible for the coordination of academic interventions and ensure that students’ progress is tracked and monitored effectively to enable progress from their starting points.

**We're looking for you if you have**:

- Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (primary or secondary experience considered).
- Experience and knowledge of SEND.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- A shared passion for the ethos of making a real difference to young people with the ability to motivate, inspire and have high expectations of students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- A dynamic person looking for an opportunity work within a secondary setting working with and supporting children with SEND.
- Enthusiastic and committed, adaptable and positive.
- Excited to be part of a committed and caring Inclusion team supporting children to realise their potential.
