Waking Night Support Workers

Residential Childcare Support Workers & Waking Night Support Workers are required for a specialist therapeutic child care and education service. The service, based in Welshpool, is for boys who have experienced significant abuse and trauma in their early lives.

Shifts are for days 8am-10pm, and early & late shifts on a rota basis.

Shifts for waking nights are 10pm-8am or 11pm - 9am.

The contracts available for days are 40 hrs, 32 hrs & 24 hr contracts.

For waking nights the contracts available are 35hrs & 40hrs.

Salaries;
Unqualified Residential Childcare Worker £11.00/hr

Qualified (QCF Level 3) Residential Childcare Worker £11.73/hr

Overtime - Any overtime (Excluding sleep ins) will now be paid at time and 1/3.

For waking nights the salaries are £11.51- £12.25/hr

As a Residential Childcare Worker you will contribute to the maintenance and provision of a high quality therapeutic community residential service for young people.

In return, as a Residential Childcare Support Worker you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits to include Company pension, Cycle to work scheme, Life insurance, On-site parking & Sick pay.
