**Role**

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will provide the experience and expertise necessary to ensure successful completion of control panels in compliance with designs and specifications alongside a team of fellow technicians working either AM or PM shifts.

**About You**

Already an experienced Panel Builder, you will demonstrate broad capabilities in control panel assembly, testing, and completion through your time working in a similar industrial sector.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble, a variety of electrical control panels and associated automation equipment
- Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS) and observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders
- Observe work rotas and completion of assigned tasks
- Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations
- Ensure all tools and equipment in use are certified and/or calibrated
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and other third parties

**You will need**
- +5 years experience of industrial control panel assembly
- A comprehensive toolkit for completing assembly of control panels
- Experience of working on own initiative

**Qualifications and Licences**
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services - Panel Wiring / Panel Builder or Mechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly) or equivalent Approved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring /Panel Building (Desirable)
