This business started in May 1979, first selling kit ware and shoe companies as well as potato packers. **Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer/Creative Artworker position**:
Be part of the Group design team based in Leicester at - responsible for creative support for the following Bunzl businesses.

KEY FOCUS - Luxury packaging
- Create packaging & graphic design ideas based upon creative briefs submitted by the team as well as taking a pro-active role in identifying design solutions.
- To originate design ideas across a range of media including focused on packaging, experience in literature, brochures, tender packs, posters, digital, social, Powerpoint, video & digital marketing would be a bonus.
- To provide creative support to the Sales and Management teams helping create internal and external design presentations and supporting material.
- Ensure the brand values of the relevant OPCO are conveyed through any specific design requirement, an understanding of branding and brand creation will be crucial - especially in line with the values of the OPCO.
- Explore and research design rationale and present along with any concepts.
- Develop design ideas from concept through to artwork level.
- Amend and check existing artwork.
- Be fully conversant in Creative Cloud.
- Understand and work within brand and corporate guidelines where relevant.
- Manage time accurately ensuring that projects are delivered on time, and to the highest quality
- Produce mock-ups, mood boards and presentation boards for internal and external presentation.
- Create packaging design, artwork builds, cutter guides, layers and Pantone specifying when applicable

**Experience and Additional Requirements**

Graphic Design degree or similar, experience in similar role.
- A strong understanding of business - to - business marketing
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships across the teams
- Strong written skills with a flair for copy-writing for business
- A strong understanding of all traditional marketing channels as well as awareness of digital and social media
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral) and the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders of all levels across the business and external agencies as required

An understanding of packaging design would be beneficial.
