Are you detail-oriented and passionate about the publishing industry? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Contracts and Royalties Assistant for a valued client. Collaborate with talented professionals, support client interactions, maintain records, process contracts, chase royalties, and contribute to the success of the company's publishing endeavours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Senior Agents in their dealings with publishers and clients, providing valuable support in submissions, preparing materials, and maintaining records.
- Utilise the database to record and manage contract details, submissions, and reports.
- Process contracts by drafting and inputting contract data, overseeing contract processing on Docusign, and ensuring timely turnaround by sending contracts to authors.
- Scan and log bank statements, process royalty statements, and actively chase unpaid royalties and invoices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify payments, respond to queries, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a knack for numbers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using databases and spreadsheet software.
- Previous experience in the publishing industry or related field is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing responsibilities.
- Highly motivated with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
