We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor for a superb permanent opportunity with our Teesside based client. The company are a well esteemed and highly regarded firm of Property and Construction Consultants, with a network of UK offices and who operate a multi sector practice. They have a two day work from home policy with three office based days per week.

**About the role**

Due to increasing workload, they are currently seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor. The key experience requirements are as follows:

- Building surveys: condition surveys, schedules of condition, defects diagnosis inspections, detailed measured surveys.
- Measured surveys: preparation of floor plans, elevations, and details on AutoCAD (must be AutoCAD proficient).
- Building pathology: identifying building defects and failures and developing solutions including advice on estimated costs and programme.
- Property management: preparation of planned maintenance programmes including elemental cost preparation.
- CDM services (desirable but not essential) preparation of pre-construction information and health and safety files.

This role provides a challenging and rewarding opportunity to develop with the support of an established multi-professional consultancy.

**About you**

Ideally you will have:

- Building Surveyor, Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (essential).
- Building Surveying BSc or BSc (Hons) degree.
- Competency in using AutoCAD and measured survey (essential)
- Knowledge of refurbishment and alteration of existing buildings (essential)
- Relevant building surveying consultancy experience (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to progress your career with a leading consultancy
- Full UK driving licence and have use of own vehicle
