We’re proud to have built ongoing relationships with the automotive industry’s most prestigious manufacturers, as well as supplying the biggest and most well-known names in the leisure and motorbike industries.

A fantastic opportunity is available to join our dynamic and growing Design Team as a Design Engineer.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Producing 2D & 3D CAD drawings to run CNC machine & support production (Solidworks, Pro-Liner, DesignConcept 2D & Optitex)
- Create 3D CAD models & BOM to support sales, pricing production
- Create Technical handbooks for new and existing products
- Project management
- Assist Design Manager in meeting the required targets/KPIs within Design department.
- Support for the accurate updating & maintaining of all pattern databases within the business
- Support digitising cloth patterns
- Support in fit sessions with key clients - occasional travel across the UK
- Support Action Required Forms; ensuring that the details captured within the forms are logged within the 2-week time frame.
- Support in promoting QC standards to ensure brand position maintained in the market & ensure QC standards/manuals generated and shared within business to deliver required standards.
- Liaise with other departments, when required to optimize the efficiencies of operating the business.
- Attend weekly/monthly meetings when required to support department.
- Ensure all Company processes & policies are adhered to.

**Key Performance Indicators**

P+L responsibility for continuing the current business growth and delivering the strategy for the foreseeable future to include:

- Delivering against key objectives in a timely manner
- Supporting business development by creating new solutions to add commercial value
- Setting, delivering & maintaining the brand standard
- Maintaining relationships with key clients
- Creating & maintaining positive, harmonious & proactive team culture

**Qualification, Skills and Experience**
- 3D CAD (Solidworks) Knowledge of surface modelling desirable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Knowledge of Adobe Create Suite
- Ability to work on own initiative, but also work well as part of a close-knit team
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Driving license (desirable)

**Salary**:From £24,000

Negotiable depending on experience
