This will suit an graduate or junior engineer with a degree or high in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science and has a passion for technology and wants an R&D focused role offering amazing technical exposure
Our client is a well-established high growth technology company that designs and develops complex software and hardware technology which is being used by the world's top and most recognised organisations
As a Graduate systems Test Engineer, you will work as part of a multi-disciplined R&D team to design, develop and execute tests to qualify products for launch. Working through the full product lifecycle, you will be key in the end to end test of physical hardwareproducts as well as manual & automated testing of software using programming / Scripting languages (Python).
This is a technically varied role and would suit someone who has a passion for complex software, electronics, or hardware.
The role;
- Create test plans from software and hardware product requirements
*Developing and documenting automated and manual tests
*Scripting using Python
- Digital Signals and use of lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Frequency counters etc)
- Working with Network and signalling technology
- Working within a highly skilled R&D team.
- Lots of technical support and technical progression
The person;
- Educated to degree level in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Scripting or programming experience (Ideally Python)
- Some Knowledge of lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes (Academic experience accepted)
- Looking to become a well rounded systems test engineer across complex technology
