Sanza Teaching Agency are working exclusively with an Outstanding three form entry primary School in Hackney. This primary school is known for the exceptional offering for children with SEND and as such they are seeking an experienced and caring SEN TeachingAssistant to support a child with complex needs in a reception class. The plan is for the pupil to start with half days in January; during which time the successful applicant will work in the Reception Class as a general Teaching Assistant.

It would be advantageous to be proficient with PECS and Makaton as the pupil pre-verbal.

** SEN TA to Support a children in EYFS

Person Specification

For this post, you must be an experienced and caring Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working with SEND children either in a volunteer or paid role. You will provide a willingness to contribute to all lessons and overseeing the preparationof lessons for the pupil/s in your charge. You must have the skills to confidently face challenging situations with a calm and collective approach. Previous experience supporting students is an essential requirement of this role.

About the Role

You will be working in Early Years Foundation Stage in a friendly and welcoming Primary school in central Hackney, close to transport links. This pupil has complex needs and is essentially learning about the world around him. He needs routine and consistency,so a TA with excellent organisational skills, dependable and hardworking would be ideal.
