_**Event Security Officer**_

We are recruiting for passionate Security Officers to work with us across our client event. Please notes this is Event Security and the hours for this role include working in weekend and night shifts.

Event Security Officer work as a vital part of the CN Security crowd management teams. Deployed to festivals, music concerts, award ceremonies, stadium events and private functions to name a few. A few of the areas Event Security Officer could find themselves working in is search areas, front-of-stage pit barriers, entry/exit gates, within response teams, backstage areas (dressing rooms/green rooms) and stage access points. Working within a team environment, all Security Operatives must be able to adapt to the demands of an event.

Overview:

- Salary: £12.00 per hour
- Location: Different every weekend

Main Duties of Event Security Officer
- Monitor and control event entrances.
- Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by visitors and report discrepancies or violations immediately.
- Monitoring and reporting any problems connected with safety of events visitors.
- Patrol the event area on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded.
- Ensure safe passage of people taking part of the organisation of the even.
- Support evacuation of the event area during fire alarm situations
- Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures.
- Provide secure storage for guest oversized items.
- Ensure only event organizes has access to limited zones.
- Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents.
- Manage undesirable behavior in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations.
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
- Knowledge of SCONE
- A valid SIA licence (SG or DS) or applied for
- A full five-year checkable employment history
