We are currently on the lookout for a teaching assistant to work with a class of Key Stage 1/2 autistic pupils. This is a mainstream primary school based in Studley; the individuals in the class have a range of needs, such as visual communication and challenging behaviour. This is a full-time role, on an ongoing basis for the 22/23 academic year. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking at starting or continuing their career in working with autistic individuals to get their foot in the door with a lovely school that is passionate in encouraging their pupils to take hold of the world they live in.

This wonderful mainstream primary school caters to children aged four to 11 years, ensuring they provide all the tools and resources to push their pupils to reach their full potential. This is made quite clear through their SEND provision. The small class of 8 autistic pupils currently have a teacher and 2 teaching assistants and are looking to expand the class team. With the school being based in Studley it is better suited to an individual local to the area or one more further afield with their own transport.
- Experience in working with children aged four-11 years - Essential

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position - Essential
- Minimum of 2 good references - Essential
