Full-time Home Care Assistant

You will be providing care to our service users in their own homes to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible.
We don't ask that our staff have previous experience in the role as experience can be gained. Our Training and Development team will work with you to help you gain the skills and knowledge required to do the role, what we do look for in our staff is compassion, to be respectful, caring, non-judgemental, good communication and listening skills and most importantly, the genuine desire to improve the lives of the people we care for.
**Job Role**:
Care duties will include assisting the service user with the following tasks:

- Assisting individuals with their personal care, including getting in/out bed washing, showering, toileting, and dressing.
- Prompting and assisting service users with their daily medication requirements.
- Light household tasks to support the individual to live in a clean and tidy environment.
- Support service users with meal preparation and supervised eating if need be.

All care we provide is very much person centred and will be carried out in line with the individuals care plan to ensure their wishes are being met.
**In return the Company will offer you**:

- Guaranteed contracted hours
- Fully funded PVG
- Full office support between the hours of 6am - 10pm, (NOT JUST AN EMERGNCY ON-CALL SERVICE)
- **Starting rate of £10.50 per hour weekdays plus a temporary uplift of 80p, meaning that your rate will be £11.30 per hour until March 2023**:

- **Enhanced rate of £14.00 per hour weekends **plus a temporary uplift of 80p, meaning that your weekend rate will be £14.80 per hour until March 2023**:
