**Senior Health & Safety Officer - Project Management**

**Overview**: The Senior HSE Officer - PM will support General Project Managers (GPM) in the planning and delivery of installation projects. This position requires a committed HSE professional who takes ownership, leads by example, and sets the standard when it comes to HSE matters.

**Main Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations**:

- Support Project General Managers in the planning and deliver of installation projects.
- Oversee development of project specific Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)documentation.
- Ensuring project specific risks are identified and assessed during the project preparation phase
- Implementation of Enercon procedures and standards, including mechanisms to ensure thesuitability of contractor (internal & external) risk assessments and method statements.
- Focal point for Health & Safety Officer (HSO) service providers working for Enercon, including:

- Provision of relevant documentation and information regarding Enercon standards.
- Organize meetings to ensure good communication and alignment.
- Provide support to internal / external contacts to clarify doubts and solve problems.
- Monitor schedules and support Construction Site Managers to supervise HSOperformance.
- Carry out incident investigations, inspections and audits and engage with applicabledepartments and disciplines to ensure corrective and preventative action plans are establishedand implemented.
- Monitor HSE reporting against agreed KPIs on projects and collate data for internal reporting.
- Support delivery of country HSE objectives and KPIs.
- Prepare communications to disseminate incidents, lessons learned and best practices.
- Identify HSE training needs and identify standards of HSE training.
- Support management in ensuring compliance with UK legislation and advise on any perceivedfailings in any safety management systems.
- Lead investigation of serious and high potential incidents in accordance with Enercon and,where applicable client requirements.
- Assist in the development of country HSE policies and procedures where required.

**Qualifications and Profile**:

- NEBOSH Diploma Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent level health and safetyqualification (PgC / NVQ level 6)
- Trained and experienced in leading incident investigations - TOPSET preferable
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in onshore wind or construction environment supporting multiple projects at a senior level as an HSE professional.
- Internal audit experience.
- Able to travel to UK ENERCON sites, including project locations in Scotland, England and Wales.
- Able to work autonomously or collaboratively with strict confidentiality.
- Able to identify issues, take responsibility and implement solutions.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
