Our client is a UK leading Green Roof supplier. From designing to installing and maintaining, they create beautiful eco-friendly solutions that meet the highest of standards and are maintained for longevity.

As Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Podium & Landscaping estimating team.

Your role will include:

- Adjudicating competitive tenders
- Develop and secure hard and soft landscaping works
- Liaise closely with Operations teams, Podium & Landscaping Pre-Construction Manager, and Directors to achieve growth, profit, and expansion
- Complete and review tenders, utilising bills of quantities, and construction plans
- Allocate tenders to the estimating Team
- Review take-offs and produce internal BOQ and quote packs
- Create risks denoting construction details, Programme, Scope Review, LADs, Design risk, Insurance requirements, Performance Bonds, Collateral Warranties, and Parent Company Guarantees
- Client management - Identify RFIs with solutions
- Lead time and deadline management
- Tender budget management
- To manage the monthly pre-construction end day forecast pipelines & billing forecasts
- Concise and detailed Project Handovers
- Attend site visits
- Maintain relationships with existing clients & develop new relationships to build the company pipeline.
- To play an active key role in settling bids

**Experience**:

- A minimum of five years (or equivalent) of experience as an Estimator in the Landscape or Construction industry.
- Knowledge and experience of hard and soft landscaping (knowledge of Tree & Shrubs would be desirable)
- Experience working in Design Development alongside Landscape Architects.
- Experience in Podium and Landscaping construction would be desirable
- Assessing levels of Risk on each project.
- Ability to improve the margin on a project.
- Good commercial and contractual knowledge of common contracts used in the industry such as NEC and JCT.
- A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes is essential.
