Transport Planning duties include;
- To build and maintain an excellent working relationship with our customers and communicate well to ensure we consistently deliver a high level of service.
- Ensure the operations desk procedures are carried our efficiently and effectively.
- To ensure accuracy and attention to detail when updating computerised systems and that standardised procedures are robustly followed.
- To communicate effectively to ensure that all operational activity is carried out to a high standard by all Drivers/Operatives within the business ensuring that all customer requests are met and any issues are dealt with in a timely, efficient and professional manner as they arise.
- To maintain excellent working relations and communicate effectively with all members of the operational and transport team.
- To be an active team player providing full support and commitment to your team and management.
- To promote an environment and culture where the customer is firmly at the centre of Company values and ethos
