Bus Mechanic

_**McLeans Coaches **_is a very successful privately owned coach company of 30 _**years**_. We are looking for a reliable time served PSV Mechanic to join our team in Airdrie. This is a permanent role for a fully qualified mechanic with experience.

**The responsibilities of this role are**:

- Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing and parts replacement.
- Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct methods of repair and parts to be used.
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing and examinations to DVSA standards.
- Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns.
- To comply with HS&E Legislation in line with Group Policies
- To comply with all other relevant Engineering standard of practices

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to work flexibly and be self-motivated is essential.
- A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2)
- PSV licence desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19.00-£22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

**Experience**:

- Commercial Engineering: 1 year (preferred)
