Bristol, United Kingdom Sirona care & health CIC Full time

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to work in the North & West Bristol locality to support improvement in health and wellbeing.

You will work in partnership with communities to promote health, reduce health inequity and ensure health interventions are co-created and delivered in a way convenient and comfortable for every resident to access. The work addresses barriers to wellbeing; whether they are related to physical or mental health, core determinants. Our aim is to ensure that people can access what they need to improve their health, rather than solely focusing on the treatment of disease.

You will work under the direction of the Locality Network Manager and will manage a small team of Community Connectors. Occasionally, community events take place in the early evening and at weekends; attendance at these will be shared between the Wellbeing Lead and Community Connectors.

The Wellbeing Team works to better understand how people living in each locality can best be supported in positively impacting their health and wellbeing. The team works to ensure that all Sirona staff are supported to contribute to developing innovative ways of working with people and communities. There is a Wellbeing Lead within each locality to ensure the work is focused to the unique strengths and requirements of the people who live there. This position offers opportunities for the post holder to be involved in a wide variety of interventions, projects, and innovative work.
