BS Social Care are working alongside a North East organisation which provides to disadvantaged young people and adults who are struggling with their mental health.

As an engagement and resilience worker, you will be responsible to within a homeless adults' provision in a project based in Consett, County Durham. The focus of the role it to support people to gain independence. Working across our housing projects, working with people who have experienced homelessness and have a range of complex needs.

You must have a minimum 6 months experience with supporting adults will a variety of mental health needs, such as ex-offenders and those who are / have been addicted to drugs. You will have experience of managing a caseload of individuals, you will be responsible for managing a caseload, and record comprehensive daily key notes and Keywork sessions. Your role is to work with individuals to promote independence and prepare for a positive move-on into independent accommodation.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred. You will be approachable and non-judgemental.
