Set in magnificent Bollin Valley surroundings, **Hale Golf Club **has a rich history dating back 1903 and is continuously evolving to provide an outstanding golfing experience.

The centrepiece of Hale Golf Club is its magnificent 9-hole golf course which has been thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The course offers a perfect mix of beauty and challenge, ensuring that players of all skill levels can enjoy a satisfying round.

The course layout has dramatically changed in the last 12 months with two new holes being built. There is further investment being made in the course over the next 4 years, including the addition of a new irrigation system.

**Job purpose**:
To carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks as directed by the Chair of Greens and Head of Greens, in accordance with the Club’s Golf Course Maintenance Policy, its Health and Safety Policy and the Greenkeepers Code of Conduct.

**Qualifications**:

- NVQ Level 2 Required
- Working towards CPD credits
- Spraying PA1/2 & 6 Desirable
- Chainsaw (Felling, maintenance or cross cutting)
- First Aid (Training available)

R**esponsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi rough.
- Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, indicating OOB, Drop zones and hazards.
- Identify and control pests and diseases
- Renovate worn and damaged turf
- Prepare and maintain machinery
- Self-motivated
- Punctual
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Be able to use initiative when lone working
- Have knowledge of the game of golf
- High Level attention to detail
- A flexible can-do attitude

**Hours of operation**:

- Hours per week 07:00 - 15:00 (40 Hours per week, Includes 30-minute break per day)

**Salary**:

- £24,000.00 - £26,000.00 PA depending on experience and qualifications
- Fixed overtime - 1 in 3 weekends 3 hours paid 1.5 X sat, 2 x Sun
Average £2,300.00 PA
