Architectural Technician

Currently representing a leading Architectural Practice who have been established for a number of years with key services in the Derbyshire area. This particular Architectural Practice specialises within the residential and commercial sectors and have anexcellent reputation in the industry for adding value. They are seeking a talented Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their expanding team.

With their office based in Derby their client base spans across the East Midlands and are really growing within their main focused sector of residential and commercial work. They are currently on the lookout for a talented Architectural Technician / ArchitecturalTechnologist to support the Architectural team, predominately on the production of feasibility, planning and working drawings, so are looking for excellent individuals to support the continued expansion of their team. Our client is also looking for the successfulArchitectural Technician / Technologist to have an excellent understanding of the construction process as well as a good technical knowledge.

**Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Overview**
- Production of feasibility, planning and working drawings.
- Consult with other staff, decide the format and scope of design data required for project (drawings, schedules, specification, etc.).
- Interpret instructions from senior Architectural staff & structural staff regarding technical content of drawings, and legal requirements of the Building Regulations and other statutory bodies
- Translate standard/proprietary clients details onto working drawings

**Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Requirements**
- Good knowledge of Revit
- HND/HNC or relevant degree (Ba/Bsc)
- Live in or around the Derby area
- 2 Years experience in a similar role
- Good technical knowledge / good technical ability
