Depot Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Depot Supervisor to join our team at Flue & Ducting Ltd. **Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Taking orders on our busy Trade counter
- Dealing with customer queries and orders over the phone
- Lead a team of Office and Warehouse staff providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of employee engagement and development.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, inspecting, and storing products or materials to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate with the Despatch and Sales department to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
- Monitor and optimise depot resources, including equipment, facilities, and manpower, to maximise operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and generate reports for management review.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all depot staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and customer service, to address any operational challenges or customer requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a depot or warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.

**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
