We are recruiting on behalf of our client. The principle has a four chair practice with both NHS and Private patient lists. They are a small team looking for someone to enhance the hard working, cohesive and progressive team allowing us to provide a high standard of care and treatment to our patients. Progression for all team members is pivotal to contentment and practice satisfaction and we are proactive in planning staff time together away from the practice.

We are looking for an adaptable team player, a highly professional individual to join our team, someone with excellent professional presentation, confidence to communicate with all team members, able to provide great service in a welcoming manner, good with patients, and a great attitude to maintaining a fun and happy team spirit, along with a dedication to patient care, organisation and timekeeping.

Your role will be key in ensuring the efficient of our dental practice and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. You will lead a team of receptionists and dental nurses, overseeing their work and providing guidance and support. You will be responsible for supervising compliance with relevant regulations, protocols, and guidelines.

**Key attributes and responsibilities**:

- Good administration and strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using IT systems
- Ability to work well on your own initiative and in a team environment
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
- Manage equipment repairs, stock and lab work
- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet patient demand.
- Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- A good knowledge of CQC standards and HTM 01-05 and HTM 01-07 is required but support will be available.
- Implement, monitor and maintain infection control protocols and ensure adherence by the dental.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement
corrective actions.
- Foster a positive and supportive team culture, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
- Any other duties to assist in the efficiency of the running of the practice or assisting the
principle with personal tasks as reasonably requested.

**Desirable knowledge and experience**:

- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Dental Nursing or reception: minimum 5 years post Dental Nursing qualification.
- Previous experience with Dental software SOE
- Experience of submitting and management of referrals system Rego
- Previous experience of the use of Dental Compliance Software iComply
- Simple bookkeeping tasks

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 5 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 5 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
