**Behaviour Support Assistant (working with Pastoral Team)**

**Days**: 5 days, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only

**Hours**: 8:30am - 4:15pm

**Pay Rate**: £90 - £110 per day

**Start Date**: ASAP

**End Date**: July 2023

Are you experienced in working with underachieving students? Do you have a passion for seeing others succeed? Are you seeking long term employment?

LTF have partnered with a Secondary School the South Birmingham (B28) region to source an Behaviour Support Mentor to begin after the February HT break. The role will involve supporting students in KS3 and KS4 with pastoral issues, specifically behaviourboth inside and outside of the classroom. This particular school has an excellent reputation for their modern facilities, forward-thinking teaching practices and excellent student behaviours.

**Job Requirements**:

- Working with challenging behaviour
- Supporting a pupil on a one to one basis, with involvement in some wider group work
- Committed to the development and progress of pupils with challenging behaviour
- Personal Qualities Passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Able to build confidence and motivation
- Approachable, and able to build robust and effective relationships with students
- Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict
- High levels of empathy, caring, compassionate, and a good listener Motivated and enthusiastic, with a professional approach to work
