BIM Coordinator - Remote - Midlands preferred - £45k plus benefits

Opportunity to join a leading Facilities Management service provider on an exciting new initiative, based mainly from home, preferably in the Midlands although other locations will be considered.

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Building Information Management system, uploading and updating all relevant documents and dissemination between all parties, including the client, regional supply chain partners and other stakeholders, to get the right information to the right people, with a common language for locations and assets.

Main elements of this role are:

- Ensure all project and related data are loaded and managed on the B2IM system, and transferred to all stakeholders and suppliers delivering projects and lifecycle works; including fit-out works data collection, inspections, planned preventive maintenance, life cycle asset management, surveys and audits
- Act as central point of contact for engineering document management and as intermediary between stakeholders so that projects remain efficient and effective to build better building information management
- Undertake an annual review of O&M manuals, drawings, asset registers, services records and test certificates
- Support and audit the project team and flag non-compliances
- Train or upskill colleagues in BIM operation and ensure staff have access to the tools and equipment they need
- Produce reporting to identify and measure BIM implementation
- Support the identification of project tasks and resolve issues
- Adhere to the latest industry standards.

What we are looking for:

- BIM qualification or equivalent experience
- Complimentary experience of other software systems such as Autodesk AutoCAD and/or CMMS would also be beneficial
- Experience working with BIM systems, with demonstrable experience of managing a BIM service to external customers
- Good understanding of M&E systems and terminology
- Experience managing teams, ideally having worked on major projects

Please note you will be required to undertake UK Government Level 1B Security Check (SC) clearance
