**OVERVIEW**:
We are seeking a Tutor/Coach to join our team. As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of student athletes by providing academic support. If you have a passion for education and enjoy working with young people, we encourage you to apply.

The programme, for 16-19 year olds has a weekly time table of education lessons and football training as well as competing in Conference Youth Alliance, SCEFL U23s and Isthmian Leagues.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The post holder will need to be able to work both flexibly and independently, but also as part of a team. They will deliver Sport qualifications at Level 2 and 3 in a group setting.
- Liaise with lead staff on the progress of students throughout the academic year.
- To communicate with our education providers throughout the year regarding courses and educational material.
- To undertake any safeguarding duties that may occur throughout the academic year.

**REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE**:

- Previous experience in coaching, tutoring or teaching, is required

**To be considered for the post you will ideally have the following:

- **
- Teaching qualification PTTLS/DTTLS/DTE (Diploma in Education), PGCE desired (Training possible to achieve)
- A current Enhanced DBS check and valid driving licence.
- The ability to be able to administer emergency first aid.
- You will need to be naturally confident and be able to control a classroom of 16-22 students
