**How you'll make a difference**:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Procurement team as a Senior Buyer.

Using procurement expertise, category knowledge and analytical skills, the main purpose of this role is to facilitate and manage procurement activity including the development of risk-mitigating sourcing strategies, competitive tendering and evaluation processes, contract drafting and supporting the business to manage our third party suppliers. Driving value through cost and risk management and supporting our strategic objectives, you’ll be focusing on improving our processes so that we can deliver an efficient service to our internal customers.

The role holder also plays a significant part in mentoring other members of the team as well as educating senior stakeholders within the business in the value of effective procurement.

Although the role holder has no direct budgetary accountability, they support c£45m pa spent on third party suppliers.
