**Job Description Summary**:
Reporting to the Gate 2 Production Cell Leader in Component Repair.

To process aircraft engine components for engine overhaul, assembly, and test, through vacuum furnace heat treatment processes.

Work unsupervised while maintaining a safe working environment and producing high quality components.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out vacuum furnace heat treat operations of aircraft engine components to within OEM specifications.
- Familiar with engineering drawings and OEM technical manuals.
- Use of some measuring equipment and be able to visually inspect engine components.
- Precise attention to detail and a high level of concentration.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Reasonable level of Microsoft Office understanding, also working with OEM manuals.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Knowledge or understanding of vacuum furnace heat treat processes would be beneficial, although not essential.
- Knowledge of brazing procedures would be beneficial, although not essential.
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude to learning the above processes.
- Must have confidence to work on their own, as well as using their initiative.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
