**Rota**: This role is based on a 4 week rota where you will work:

- 2 weeks of Tuesday - Saturday
- 2 weeks of Monday - Friday
- The hours for this role are between 5am - 10pm

**Please note**: This role require you to work on site due to operational requirements

Our Customer delivery Operations is a vital part of our business. Here at the Partnership, our Transport Administrator will take ownership of the department's operational success by assisting site management with daily tasks and project work, support in continuous improvement initiatives and using your customer experience to be an ambassador of John Lewis and Partners.

**About the role**:
**As our Transport administrator you will**:

- Effectively communicating with all Partners and raising operational issues to the Transport/Site Management Teams in a timely manner, providing handovers at the end of your shift
- Maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business and third parties. Actively escalating issues and managing relationships with external service providers & internal vehicle maintenance units as and when required.
- Keeping up to date on your knowledge of the Road Transport Directive, Domestic and EU Drivers Hours Regulations. Assisting the Site Management Team and Operator Licence holders, ensuring compliance with the Road Transport Directive, Domestic and EU Drivers Hours Regulations.

**Due to the nature of the role, you will require**:

- Experience or interest working in transport compliance
- Excellent PC Skills including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience with Transport Compliance systems for defective vehicles and driver's hours.
- Maths and very good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems

**What else you may bring**:

- Very good organisation and planning skills with a good working knowledge of Transport Legislation
- Experience working in a Transport office and within Transport Compliance
- Transport Compliance Legislation knowledge (for example driver's hours and working time, vehicle maintenance planning, infringements)
- Transport or Logistics Apprenticeship
- Knowledge of Telematics systems & Routeplanner
