**Job Role: Lead Basketball Coach**

**Job Role Description**:_The successful applicant will be able to follow all bullet points below. Alongside be able to think on their feet and continuously promote the EVOLVE Sporting Culture._
- Applicants MUST be able to work effectively with children from ages 8-16.
- Applicants MUST be able to travel and arrive to set up their sessions on time prior to players arriving.
- Applicants MUST be able to utalise coaching aids (whiteboards / different learning techniques) when delivering coaching sessions to players.
- Applicants MUST be able to follow EVOLVE's Basketball Syllabus to plan and deliver progressive sessions.
- Applicants MUST wear EVOLVE Branded kit to all sessions.
- Applicants MUST report and issues to the Owner of EVOLVE.

**Required Work Experience / Education**:

- To have played basketball and have an understanding of the game.
- To have obtained a Sports Coaching Degree or Basketball Level 1, 2 or 3.
- To have worked with children in schools or in previous sports coaching roles.

EVOLVE provides members of staff with opportunities to develop within the provided coaching structure (Attending Sports Courses and Workshops).

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £10.00-£17.50 per hour

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Basketball Qualification (preferred)
- DBS Check (preferred)
- First Aid Qualification (preferred)
