**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Exemplary Leadership**: Lead with positivity and integrity, setting a high standard for staff conduct and fostering a nurturing environment.
- **Guidance and Support**: Provide guidance to room staff, ensuring they effectively plan activities, maintain accurate records, and adhere to policies and safety protocols.
- **Engaging Learning**: Create dynamic play experiences that captivate and challenge children, balancing structured and child-led activities for optimal growth.
- **Staffing Balance**: Maintain legal staff-to-child ratios within your room while offering support to other areas of the nursery as required.
- **Crisis Management**: Take decisive action in emergencies or in the absence of the manager, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and staff.
- **Mealtime Oversight**: Supervise meal times closely, considering dietary restrictions and allergies to ensure a safe and inclusive dining experience.
- **Task Management**: Meet deadlines efficiently and assist room staff with paperwork, training, and maintaining children's development records.

**Qualifications**:

- **Childcare Proficiency**: Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent in early years education, with prior experience as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Assistant, or Nurse.
- **Leadership Ability**: Inspire and motivate teams effectively.
- **Creativity**: Introduce innovative ideas to enrich learning.
- **Adaptability**: Navigate unforeseen circumstances gracefully.
- **Attention to Detail**: Demonstrate meticulousness across all aspects, from paperwork to play.
