**The Opportunity**

Just Eat Takeaway (JET) is looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to work in the Information Group (IG). The IG department encompasses a wide variety of engineering enablement technology teams in Product & Tech. This includes Platform Engineering, Data and Data Science, Information Security and Compliance and Enterprise IT (EIT). This role will be situated in the sub-pillar leadership team, working closely with Directors of Engineering and the Head of Delivery with 2 core responsibilities:

- Leading a team of Agile delivery managers and Technical program managers to define, deliver and report on a full roadmap of work for the Information Security, Compliance and EIT teams
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with Directors of Engineering in Information Security and EIT

**Key Responsibilities**

Responsible for:

- Managing a team of cross functionalDelivery Managers to run an efficient, flexible and continuous delivery pipeline that is aligned with the Product function and strategic direction.
- Ensuring the leadership teams are working effectively and ensuring the operating model is operating in an efficient and effective manner. Custodian of the rhythm of business meetings.
- Overseeing, supporting and promoting the personal and professional development of Delivery Managers within the team.
- Experience of working with co-located / remote teams at scale.
- Ensuring progress is transparent, predictable and sustainable, helping the IG teams to provide the most value to stakeholders.
- Driving and articulating the value realised through complex initiatives driven out of teams or through programmes.
- Ensuring commitments to stakeholders are met and any changes to expectations are fully documented and communicated.
- Championing best agile and programme management delivery practices and ways of working across the department, and acting as a true advocate of our cultural values.
- Partnering with leadership peers to manage and coordinate the day to day running of the IG Delivery teams.

**Role Specific**

As a Lead Delivery Manager you will be responsible for a full spectrum of practices across program and project management, agile / lean methodologies, supporting critical processes, products and services which underpin our P&T functions.
- Are value and outcome-driven, with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
- Are pragmatic with the ability to see a problem, step in and then step out when appropriate.
- Has deep experience of running a team of cross functional delivery managers to deliver complex programmes of work
- Highly proficient at defining, iterating and delivery complex roadmaps of work that span across multiple business units
- Have an excellent working knowledge of Agile/ Lean Thinking and how it can be implemented in a variety of models and organisations at scale.
- Are passionate about ‘being better’ with an ability to create an appetite for continuous improvement across the department.
- Are an excellent stakeholder-manager (both internal to JET and External) with great communication and presentation skills.
- Are highly collaborative with fantastic facilitation skills at team and department level.
- Are enthusiastic with a sense of pride in the work delivered and the quality of how it was delivered.
- Are an open and honest individual who both welcomes and provides feedback in a way that is constructive and thoughtful
- Are able to implement lean and systems thinking across a department and translate principles into practices that work for everyone.
- Able to work closely with engineering, analytics, data sciences and product teams in fast-paced, technology-based businesses.
- Able to influence and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Able to mentor & coach both direct reports and other colleagues in great agile and delivery practices.
- Can make significant improvements to a department's ways of working to build noticeable improvements in its success metrics.

Experience
- Demonstrable experience leading a delivery function that operates in an agile environment at scale
- Proven track record of mentoring team members and/ or colleagues.
- Successful stakeholder management to senior levels
- Proven track record of delivering of successful products and projects
- Proven track record of successful collaboration across functions and disciplines
- Having a data driven mindset in order to deliver outcomes
- Proven track record of leading and managing at scale (20+ Product & Tech Teams.)
- Ability to work well across different functions, geographies and multinational backgrounds
