**Production Team Lead - Monday to Friday Days**

**Ballymena**

**£28,000 to £30,000**

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a bespoke manufacturing company based in Ballymena for the recruitment of a Production Team Leader. Reporting the Production Manager, you will act as first point of contact for line employees and all line queries.

**Main duties**
- Organise workflow and people resources to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Liaise with other department managers to ensure production and despatch is on target.
- Provide a daily shift report to the Production Manager
- Report any employee absences or lateness to the Finishing Manager
- Ensure all batches and documentation are complete through each stage of the process.
- Motivate and enhance performance through training, cross skilling and communication.
- Ensure all accidents and near misses within your area are investigated to identify root cause and implement countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Report all maintenance to management and continue to follow up until complete.
- Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to management to support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

**What you'll need**
- A minimum of 1 years' experience within a supervisory position within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of supporting and motivating a team to achieve KPI's.
- Knowledge of quality standards
