**This post is full time, 35 hours per week and is fixed term for two years.**

**The role**

As part of our Digital Team and reporting to our Content Lead, you will be one of six Digital Content Producers responsible for ensuring that all content on
**our website** is succinct, effective, accessible and optimised for users.

With the help of our two UX designers, you will ensure that user needs are centred in the development of content and as part of this, you will have the opportunity to get involved in usability testing and user interviews, as well as using UX tools like Hotjar and Figma.

You will work with a wide variety of colleagues and stakeholders on the creation and enhancement of website content, helping to identify appropriate online KPIs and collaborating with our Web Analyst to develop your understanding of and effectively leverage Google Analytics data to understand how content is performing.

You will be presenting your content edits and ideas to diverse stakeholders, so will need excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will also need experience of working in one or more content management systems - familiarity with Drupal is an advantage, but not essential, as our website is built in Drupal 9.

**Our team**

The Digital Team is currently made up of 13 people and we are responsible for the
**University’s public website**.

We work across web analytics, content, design (UI and UX) and development (front
- and back-end), using an Agile framework (and the project management tool JIRA) to organise and deliver project work. For smaller, operational content work, we use an IT service desk system.

We have a Smart Working Policy in the team that allows for significant hybrid working. Most of our communication and collaboration is now conducted online, via MS Teams, but we also have a central London office (next to Oxford Street) that we share with colleagues from both our wider Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Communications department, as well as other Professional Services departments.
