**We have an exciting role for a Learning Support Assistant to work in a Specialist school in Bury St Edmunds.**

You will be part of an experienced and committed team dedicated to enabling the pupils to access education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1 with pupils to ensure they complete tasks and help the teacher deliver lessons to the whole class. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a caring person. As well as classroom-based learning the school has the facilities to provide education outside of the classroom with modern purpose-built facilities that enable pupils to strive for independence.
- Work in small class sizes with experienced TAs and Teachers.
- Supporting pupils inside and outside of the classroom.
- Enabling pupils to learn in an environment where they feel safe and supported.
- Helping to contribute to a positive school ethos that ensures pupils strive for independence.
- Become part of the team and support the teacher.
- Resilient and caring person.
- Has an interest in SEN education and working with pupils.
- Supportive and flexible in changing situations.
- An individual who is proactive and dynamic
