NHS Northamptonshire Talking Therapies provides evidence based psychological therapies for adults with a range of common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety disorders. The post holder will be working in an integrated step 2 and step 3 service that includes a Clinical Supervisor, High Intensity CBT, EMDR, IPT, CFD and Couples Counselling for Depression Therapists, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Assistant Psychologists, Mental Health Support Practitioners, Peer Support and admin workers. The role will be based at Lotus House, Northampton within the Central Team.

As part of this diverse role, the Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner will supervise Mental Health Support Practitioners and Assistant Psychologists, as well as facilitating clinical skills sessions. As part of this role, they will be liaising with a range of mental health teams developing service pathways. They will also be liaising with community projects to ensure fair and equal access to all within Northamptonshire, including online solutions to improving access to support such as SilverCloud, webinars, workshops and group options.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may be called upon to work in various community settings (including GP surgeries and other community venues).

NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
