An exciting opportunity has arisen for a painter and decorator to join our maintenance team at the St James Hotel. Part of the Corus hotel group it is North East Lincolnshire’s largest hotel with 124 bedrooms. The hotel also boasts a lounge bar, restaurant, 6 meeting rooms and its own public bar. This is based on 24 Hour contract.

Duties Include:

- Painting and decorating guest rooms, public areas and back of house to a high standard
- Assist in our rolling refurbishment programme
- To produce high quality work within tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively alone
- Responsible for maintaining furniture, fixture and fittings
- Assist and carry out general maintenance in and around the hotel.
- Assist our Maintenance Manager in maintaining all Building services within the complex in good working and decorative order.
- Ideally have previous experience of working in a hotel or customer focused environment
- Have recent experience of working as a painter/decorator
- Have the ability to work under their own supervision
- Have an excellent eye for detail
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking
- Be an excellent timekeeper and reliable
