Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Van Driver/ HGV Relief Driver to join our team at Yeovil.

**The Role**

We are now recruiting for a full-time, experienced Van Driver / HGV Relief Driver to join our team in our **Yeovil **Branch.

You will be responsible for the delivery of products to customers, with key accountability for ensuring the quality and timing of service is first class.

The role includes heavy lifting of goods by loading and unloading of the vehicle. Maintains high standards of housekeeping and vehicle cleanliness, ensuring compliance with all legal and security requirements.

It is the Drivers responsibility to make sure they have access to Transport Polices & Procedures which is located in each branch and to work in accordance as documented

All this under the authority of the Branch Manager.

**Person Specification Essential**:

- Class 2 HGV Licence (Cat C)
- Working knowledge of current transport legislation
- Valid CPC (valid hours report)
- Valid Tachograph Card
- Good understanding/knowledge of Tachograph Regulations and use of Desired:

- Minimum GCSEs grade C or above in Maths & English or equivalent
- Clean Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
- Lorry Mounted Crane Certificate (with remote control)
- Forklift qualification (counterbalance licence)
- Product knowledge of building products Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities To provide driver support to the CRS including, but not limited to

**The Hours**

Full time - Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00 1 in 2 Saturdays 08:00 -12:00
