**Service Engineer - PackagingPosition Overview**

My client are a well stablished company specialized in design, manufacturing and servicing of packaging machines is looking to grow their service department due to an increase in the market demand. They supply a wide range of packaging equipment to a bigvariety of markets all over the UK and the World.
As a Field Service engineer, you will be responsible for installing, training and servicing the companies equipment's to the highest standards. You will be dealing with the customers first hand, so good communication will be a must. You also must comply withour customer safety policies in place when on site.
You will be required to survey and service costumer equipment's. Be able to provide solutions to improve the efficiency of our equipment's when needed.
When not on customer sites, you will be in the factory assisting in the manufacturing of their equipment's.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install and service our packaging equipment.
- Willing to travel across the UK and globally when needed.
- Willing to stay away from home, occasionally for more than a week.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge (Mechanic bias).
- Fault finding.
- Basic PLC understanding.
- Report always to the service manager.
- Be able to provide new ideas to improve our equipment's.
- Able to work part of team and alone when necessary.

**Service Engineer - PackagingPosition Requirements**
- Service Engineer
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Basic understanding of electrical fault-finding principles.
- Willing to travel and stay away.
- Able to work under pressure
- Clean driving license (Preferable)
- Able to create and maintain good customer relations
- Organized
- Willing to work flexible hours when required
- Basic pneumatics knowledge.
- Must be Covid 19 vaccinated due to travel

**Service Engineer - PackagingPosition Remuneration**
- Starting salary of £34,000 + extra which equates to circa £4,000
- Overtime (paid door to door for UK travel)
- Company van
- Full benefits to be discussed
