Procurement Officer

Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) is currently looking to recruit a permanent, full time (36.25 hours per week) Procurement Officer based in either Carlisle, Newcastle, Workington with occasional travel to other sites and a salary of £32,532 - £34,995 per annum

- Experienced in end to end tendering
- Financial and commercial awareness
- A thorough understanding of the principles of risk management
- Accurate cost reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of contract buying and tender procedures
- Ability to engage and build professional relationships with internal, external suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Successful management of contracts and contractors, appropriately identifying and mitigating risks and harnessing opportunities.
