The Role:
- To work within dispersed accommodation provided by East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) and Havant Borough Council (HBC) provide intensive support to the victim / survivor and their child(ren) living within the properties.
- To provide high-quality crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and proactive support to victims / survivors who access the EHDC/HBC Housing and Homelessness Service

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide support to victims and survivors to maintain their current accommodation
- Provide safety planning for the family
- To provide 1:1 support for each member of the family and facilitate family work, through a family support plan, enabling the family to thrive as individuals and a unit.
- Support victims to understand their housing options and access or maintain suitable, safe accommodation.
You will have:
- Experience working with vulnerable groups
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework
- Have strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations
- Have knowledge and experience of Adult and Child Safeguarding principles, the relevant legislative framework and local and national guidance, including recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns/making referrals to statutory bodies.
