Our Watford based client has been established for more than 70 years and are globally recognised as market leaders in the integration of cutting-edge integrated intralogistics systems to an array of customers across the globe, and as a result of continuedsuccess and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic multi skilled maintenance engineer to complement their professional team.
- Electrical and / or Mechanical strip-down/re-assembly, basic field wiring, machine calibration and system testing as required
- Planned Preventative and reactive maintenance of site MHE to the required high standards and working to often strict time constraints to complete breakdown repairs and minimise equipment downtime
- Being accountable for managing your time via CMMS
- Always looking to undertake continuous improvement
- Liaising closely with the management team, keeping them informed of repair and maintenance progress and addressing concerns
- Acting in accordance with all relevant Health & Safety and legislative considerations at all times and performing risk assessments as necessary
- Performing service and repair on various items of installed products and demonstrating hands on ownership of all issues to achieve a fast resolution.

You will demonstrate electrical and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read drawings, and be skilled in the operation of hand tools and able to assemble parts onto equipment, following set up instructions, drawings and check lists whilst payingclose attention to detail. As the role is on a customer site, you will possess excellent customer facing skills at all levels (both internal and external customers) and the communication skills to effectively deliver KPI based monthly reviews to stakeholders.

Qualified to a UK recognised standard of Level 3 or above in a relevant electrical and mechanical, knowledge of Pneumatics and appreciation of PLC control will prove distinctly advantageous, as would previous experience in the use of a CMMS and engineeringstores. You will be a confident user of the MS suite of software (Word, Excel, Outlook and TEAMS) and be able to interpret electrical schematic diagrams and work with 415V motor controls as required.
