We're recruiting for a Scholarly Communications Assistant for a higher education provider based in Newcastle City Centre.

The role is to start in January for a minimum of 6 months, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday office hours, working on campus, with potential for some work from home days once fully trained.

£11.46 per hour + holiday pay earned as you work.

The main duty of this role is to provide administrative support to the Scholarly Communications team, whilst being self-motivated, able to work to deadlines and deliver a high-quality professional service.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

- Strong customer service skills
- Strong administration skills
- Able to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Comfortable with collaborating with academic and administrative colleagues
- Accuracy with data entry

Experience desirable but not essential:

- Previous work experience within higher education
